Lately I have begun painting in acylics in preparation for an exhibit this summer.  Here are some recent works.

Ducks

Every spring for the past three years we've had a pair of mallard ducks hanging around our pond.  This year (largely thanks to the emergence of Duck Dynasty and my brother in law's new-found interest in duck hunting) we've been putting out cracked corn.  And our flock has grown from two to approaching thirty.  Every morning before I go to work, I put my camera in the car and consequently I now have a ton of beautiful reference photos ducks.  I can't wait to paint them!  Here's the first quick little sketch.

This dory lives down in South Musquash.  This is based on one of my photos from last summer.
